Miss Emily Learning Phonics 1 for the iPad

Miss Emily Learning Phonics step 1 introduces Letters and Sounds and concentrates on developing childrens speaking and listening skills.

This app is divided into 3 main sections that should help to develop vocabulary and language comprehension.

1) Odd 1 out
In this section the user will generate 4 images, by selecting each image they will be told what it is. They then need to select the odd 1 out. They can then check this answer as they work their way towards a goal of 5.


2) Alphabet
The alphabet is broken into 5 sections and each letter is represented, when the user selects the image they are told the appropriate letter building their knowledge and understanding of the letters. Once the learner is more advanced you can select word description rather than letters.

3) Starting with..
The user will generate an image and 5 letters will be displayed, from here they must select the letter that the image starts with. If they are correct they will get a round of applause.
